Personal data handling
Who is responsible
The controller for any personal data processed in connection with ranklookoutmeadowre.click is the site's administrator. The site's administrator can be reached through the contact page, which explains how to prepare a note.
What the site does not do
The site has no user accounts, no log-in, no payments and no form that submits data to a server. It does not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, social media plugins or embedded content from other services. It does not set cookies or use browser storage; the cookie policy gives more detail.
The contact draft tool
The draft tool on the contact page runs entirely in your browser. The text you type and the draft it builds exist only in your browser's memory while the page is open. Nothing is sent to the site or saved anywhere unless you choose to copy the text or download it as a file. Closing or reloading the page clears it. The tool does not ask for your name, email address or other identifying details, and you are asked not to include them in the message.
If you choose to send an email to the address shown in the footer, the email, your email address and anything you include in it will be received and processed so that the note can be read and, where appropriate, answered. Please include only what is needed to describe the issue.
Hosting and access logs
Like most websites, the site is delivered by a hosting service. When you load a page, that service may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and your browser type. These logs are typically used for security, troubleshooting and keeping the service running. How long they are kept depends on the hosting service's own practices.
External links
Where the site links to other websites, those sites are run independently. Their own privacy policies apply once you follow a link, and the site's administrator has no control over what they collect.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to ask for access to personal data held about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To use these rights, prepare a note through the contact page. You may be asked for enough information to handle the request, but never for more than is needed.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how personal data has been handled, you have the right to complain to the competent data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). If you live elsewhere, you can contact the data protection authority in your own country.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site works changes, for example if a new tool is added, this policy will be updated to describe the change before or when it takes effect.
